Voting in Spain

If you're an EU citizen living in Spain but not Spanish, you have the chance to vote in the European Parliament elections on June 9th. Your voice matters!

To participate, you just need to be registered in the specific electoral census for these elections. It's a straightforward process:

Registration: Make sure you are registered in your usual municipality of residence in Spain. It's important that your details are up to date.

Express your intention to vote: You need to formally indicate your intention to vote in the European Parliament elections here in Spain, committing to exercise this right exclusively on Spanish territory.

Preventing double voting: Inform about the last constituency where you were registered in your home country. This is to ensure there's no duplication of voting.

To complete step 1, you must register at your local town hall. You can find more information here: Link.
